Begun has everything with a
Renault 8,
in which my father learn me to
drive a car far before it was allowed according the law, but only on not
plublic roads.
My first own car was a
VW Beetle,
after a trip into the motorcycle scene
Kawasaki 1000 Z
cames a side jump to Opel Kadett
C, after this side jump i came
back to VAG products
Jetta GLS
and
later
Golf GTI.
On the
IAA 1989 it stand before me - the Audi Coupe
from SMS,
and i know immediadely, that must it be. In the year 1990
then
Audi brought the Coupe S2
with almost equal exterior and interior view to the
Coupe from SMS
on the market.
In the year1991 it was so far an i ordered
the Audi Coupe S2.
A dream become truly, however bitter
awaking came 1997 into Budapest, when the Coupe was stolen.
As a temporary solution, therefore an Audi 100 2,0 E
was bought.
Since the production of the
Audi Coupe S2 was already stopped 1995,
i must start with the searching of a used
Audi Coupe S2 (construction year 1995).
After long search, telephone calls, many
promises and thousends of unnecessary kilometers i saw quite near
Frankfurt /
Main an Audi Coupe S2, which
corresponded with my whishes and i bought it.
In the year
1999 the Audi 100 E was deactivated
and an Audi 80 2,3E Quattro as
secondary car was purchased.
2004 a further
Audi Coupe S2, construction year 1994
was purchased.
Both S2 are until today in my
possession and it will remain also still longer!!!
